History

This is not my first foray into the world of blogging.

Certainly before myspace, facebook and even the dreadful friendster came on the scene, blogging was already in full swing, and I admit that I jumped on the bandwagon with full force and was a consistent blogger on xanga. Dark days indeed.

Freshly transferred (January 2003) to my local community college after one singularly horrendous semester up north at SUNY Fredonia, I found myself lacking for activities.  Sure enough, being isolated, with my head full of video game tactics and anime sub-plot factoids (clearly I had a lot of time on my hands) I began to spread my knowledge and of course my opinions of just about everything, to anyone who would read them.

So much and yet so little has changed since those days.  I have graduated from college, quite to my surprise I do not fill my free time with seventy-hour long epic video games, and sure enough, I rarely watch anime, however I must state that my dvd collection is still virtually 90% anime, and I am a disciplined reader of online manga.

Long story short, I am not going to vent or rant endlessly about anime classics from the 80's, although I will say this - if you have yet to watch "AKIRA" do yourself a favor and rent it immediately.  Rather, I will attempt to fill the posts to come with presumably stimulating material and of course descriptions of my latest transitions, travels, near-death experiences etc., and occasionally if a recent film or book happens to be of particular interest, then I sincerely hope that you, dear reader, will forgive my indulgence into such subjects.

Until then.
