I have returned early from California. Got into JFK around 9:30 last night and drove straight to Cameron's Deli, a 24-hour deli in Cross River. It's amazing to me that a small town like mine has a 24-hour establishment while I had trouble finding food after midnight in Santa Cruz and could only find one late night spot in San Francisco. Granted I didn't do a comprehensive search of either city, it was still tough.
So I'm back, and it's great to be in the deciduous forest once again. Back where there is hot falafel, real pizza, and rain!
Now that I have uploaded the photos from my trip and the trail, I am going to go back through my old posts and insert photographs, so look back through the old blogs if you like to see some visual accompaniment. Plus, I will go through each day on the trail, so look for a bunch of new posts.
